Please note that we have a new system, Volunteer Relationship System (VRS), for Volunteer Sign-Up for Events, Annual Volunteer Training and Background Checks.
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us! This year, we are introducing a new sign-up system, VRS. All volunteers are required to create an account on VRS and complete an annual training in order to be able to sign up for our events.
If you have not completed the annual training this year, please create an account on VRS by clicking the "Don't have an account? tab, watch a 35-minute video review the training manual, provide a single signature for the signature pages, and answer a short 5-question quiz.
If you have already done the above, then you can go to the Events menu to sign up for the event. If you have not yet completed the training, you will still be able to sign up, but you will be placed on the waitlist pending completion of the training.
Since we have minors (youth under 18 years) visiting our booth, our insurance company, which provides all volunteers with liability insurance and Plan to Protect, has asked that we request a background check (six easy online steps) on all of our volunteers. The cost for this is only $28.67, which can be paid online and is valid for 4 years and 10 months. Please follow the prompts after creating an account and completing annual certification to provide us with a background check. You can also upload or apply for your police check
